World's Largest Peonies

At Frosty Acres Peonies we carefully grade and sort ALL of our Peonies. This is our grading system, that has been adapted from New Zealand's peony growers. The USDA only grades up to "A" Standard.

AAA

AAA/Extra Fancy

We grade our AAA Peonies as any bud that exceeds 1.77" (45mm). This will make a 7" to 9" or larger bloom.

These are generally showcased in Head table centerpieces, bridal bouquets, and anywhere you want to make a bold statement for your special event.

AA

AA/Fancy

AA Peonies are graded as any bud that exceeds 1.57" (40mm). This will make a 5" to 7" Bloom.

Use these for bouquet, centerpieces, and volume decoratons.

A

A/Select

"A" Grade Peonies or Petite peonies are any bud that is 1.38" (35mm). This will make a 3" to 5" Bloom.
